HIRE TERMS

Hire period
The hire period starts at the time of delivery (or collection) and ends when the equipment is returned to Apex Hire Co. in clean, working order. Late returns are charged at the daily rate.
Operator responsibility
The hirer is responsible for safe operation of the equipment, including familiarisation with controls, hazard awareness, and compliance with workplace health & safety laws.
Damage & loss
The hirer is liable for any damage beyond fair wear, theft, or loss of the equipment during the hire period, up to the full replacement cost.
Fuel
Equipment is supplied full of fuel and must be returned full. Refuelling will be charged at cost plus a service fee.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start date. Cancellations within 48 hours incur a one-day hire charge.
Underground services
The hirer is responsible for locating and identifying all underground services (Dial Before You Dig) before excavation. Apex Hire Co. accepts no liability for damage to underground services.
Indemnity
The hirer indemnifies Apex Hire Co. against all claims, damages, or losses arising from use of the equipment during the hire period.
